Another week, another flood -- yet we are all still alive and well, are we not? Come, who's for a drink in the pub then, tonight?

Eris! How do you fare?

[High fantasy drunk-in-the-pub threads are welcome!]

under an enchantment, chaos warden, elric is cooler than you

If I am permitted to attend, I would go just for new companionship. But someone else would have to drink on my behalf! Ha!

I have no doubt something could be arranged, my friend. Even for the drinking.

That could be...interesting. I haven't been properly inebriated in over four centuries.

[OOC: OH GOD WATCH OUT BARGE...XD]

Four centuries? That is an unfairly long time to miss one of life's simpler pleasures.

I'm in, if it's all right with my warden!

But of course. I think it would be churlish of your warden to deny you at least one night of recreation.

Of course. I'm sure he wouldn't mind it a bit.

Then I hope to see you there, good lady.

A little troubled, dear Warden, but well enough. May I join you?

[OOC: Since I don't want to retcon as something as recent as....well, yesterday, I'm going to say Invasionverse Eris was flood-affected to her pre-Tartarus self, which would explain why she went and tried to make Sexby fly into an indiscriminately violent rage for lulz.]

Yes, but I would ask a favour of you first, my dear. Nothing too taxing, but some explanation of what happened during the flood would not go amiss.

Of course.

I was as I was just before the war in Troy. I heard Angelica speak about her husband and I...the person I was would have delighted in making them suffer. It was irresistible to her.

So she -- I provoked him with her own words, and he tried to cut my throat; I escaped. There's little else to say.

I see. You have, I hoped, attempted to make amends? The effects of the floods are well-known, of course, but that does not mean that one should ignore events altogether, merely because they occurred whilst we were not in our right minds.
