And are we to assume that you enjoyed it?

es, yes we are.

it felt oddly authentic and believable for such a surreal story. like, hey, i have been in an apartment like that. i've met people's papa who were like that.
i was just head over heels with the visuals, period.
the costumes, the lighting, the SET. so full of detail. i think i have to re-watch it just to gorge my eyes on the wallpaper for chrissakes. what a dork i am.

amore.

I know! The wallpaper!
And THE BOOKSHELVES. I want bookshelves that full in my apartment one day.

Are you not in love with her?! Surely you must be. She's beautiful and and and TWINCEST! and... oh. You see what this movie does to me?
And the kitchen floor. Oh, the kitchen floor.

just like last tango in paris changed my view of butter sticks, now will i forever have to think of frying eggs from a different light.
(makes me really want to photograph fried eggs on some beautiful girl's tits. hmm. but i think its been done.)

and i wish to just... build the aesthetic of my life around isabelle and theo. her wardrobe. her physique. his glare. his room with the mao lamp(!).

god, the detail of the marilyn monroe head taped to the delacroix. isabelle's photo stuck to matthew's stiff dick. details like that.
hoorah.

I've been considering getting a poster of the Delacroix and taping Marilyn to it over my bed ever since seeing the movie. Isn't it wondrous?
I don't think I'll go for a poster of isabelle's photo on his penis, though. Not my style. I like phallic symbols, yes... but...
