Haha, I'm not a gun expert, but I do know Smith and Wesson so as soon as Sam said I'm Sam Wesson I made the connection. Together they're a gun. Just like Winchester is a gun's name. ♥ Love this!
this episode was so great. we needed something light after the last one... but they managed to send some important messages anyway.. like the one that the boys are really meant to be hunters.
I nearly died when Dean called Sam "Sammy". it was adorable. :)))
Yeah, it was lighter at least, but then at the end there were the angels again. *sigh* Can't there ever be an episode without angels anymore? Don't like them, don't like the storyline, bleh!
Haha, I knew you'd have a huge squee going on with the ghostfacers! Love your icon! Maybe we need to go to that ghostfacers convention after all. ;) ;)
You know, I'm actually considering going to either the Ghostfacers Con or the Joss Whedon Con (they're the same weekend). They just announced James Marsters as a guest. But... I'm not really into Dollhouse, and I never watched Firefly, so I don't know. Now if they could get Corbett for the GF Con... that would make it really tempting. :-)
* Seriously, the amount of times Supernatural borrowed episode material from the X-Files is insane. This reminds me so much of The X-Files' episode "Field Trip", where Mulder and Scully are also kind of hallucinating. The plot is a little different, but still...
!!!!! i was thinking the same... ever since I started watching SPN. There is simply too much I've already seen on the X Files :( And for this episode, do you remember this one episode where also people went crazy in their office because their boss was some weird monster? I don't remember the title.. folie a deux? mmmh.. But i had to think about this episode all the time! "Field Trip" also resembled to "what is and never should have been"... I wish they would have come up with something else than copying from the X-Files, and I don't blame it on the same producers. It's just... ahhh there must be so much more, apart from God and Angels. meh.
But anyway, I liked that episode. Dean in suits and ties, awesome :D
YES!!! Folie à Deux, you're right, it does resemble that a bit!!! I can't believe I hadn't thought about that yet, since it's one of my fav. episodes. When Mulder says to Scully that basically she's the only one on the whole planet he can trust, "you're my one in five billion, Scully", I thought I was dying.!!! ♥ ♥
Anyway, I think it's fun to see the similarities with the same writers and producers. As long as they don't copy whole plots etc. it's all fine with me. But yeah, the angels and god thing wasn't their best move, IMO. I still don't like that storyline. And the fact that Misha is going to be a series regular next year doesn't say much good either. That means they're still going to be angel next year too. Meh indeed. :(
haaaaah, now I want to watch the X Files all over again!! ...My friend will show me a place where they sell the seasons boxes. Then I can buy and lock myself in and watch like I've never watched the X Files before. whoohoo
