Ugh! I loathe the snow.

When I was about 3, living in Hampshire, we had a huge snowfall and my Pa was terribly excited about it being my first snow. Well life seemed to have come to a standstill for most of Hampshire today.200 schools were closed including the one I've been working at lately(though I'm not scheduled until Wednesday this week).I think they are closed tomorrow and I think that the remaining few that are still open in the area will be closed if the big freeze arrives overnight.

Anyway I don't have the car tomorrow so I'll decline if asked to go too far from home.Getting a taxi at that time of the morning without prior arrangement can be a problem.

Beef stew tonight..I must have known how cold it was going to be..I certainly didn't realise when I planned the weeks menus what the weather would be like.

One of these days we will get over to your neck of the woods, and I shall bring a loaf of the good GF bread for Charles. It makes lovely breadcrumbs as well as nice sandwiches (I had sossidge sarnies for my lunch today!).

It's made by Glutafin, but I don't know whether it's available to buy or only on prescription.
