Yes, I am still alive. . .barely. School sucks but I do admit that part of it is because I would still rather be doing other things, namely nothing. As soon as I get used to the inordinate number of people (that will take a while) and the fact that professors are serious when they say that they want students to participate and the whole endless ( Read more... )

I am glad to read your lovely typing again!

I'm with you 100% on the not wanting to do school work thing. I end up thinking of a million other things to do-- like alphabetizing my CDs. I wish that was a joke.

Good luck on relocating your ambition. (Have you looked under your bed? Behind your curtains? Maybe it's just really shy.)

I don't blame you for not reading posts. My LJ has been boring lately anyway. Or maybe it's just me. Being boring, I mean. School has basically eaten my brain, and still I've nearly failed two tests in a row. (That was my fault, though, because instead of studying, I dicked around on LJ. Oops?) At the moment, I should be writing an essay on To Kill a Mockingbird. I love that book, but writing an essay on it is totally unappealing at the moment.

Why do my comments always turn into a "SO HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING" sort of thing. I'm sorry. I'll stop now.

Well, one more thing...

Are you lacking in a life at the moment that my posting can bring you so much joy. I am not that wonderful. (Let's argue about our opinions of ourselves vs. one another's opinions of ourselves just for old times' sake.)

I cannot alphabetize my CD's because I have not looked at them in eons. I am so rarely home that when I am I do not like the noise of my CD player. Of course, it's been like this since the summer so the theory has a few holes.

Considering that my ambition has probably been gone for years now instead of just a few months, I think it would be far more likely that it's somewhere in the Grand Canyon. I will lucky if I get it back before I die.

Your lj has not been boring! I looked at it and read most of it (I will admit to skimming a little just to save brain power). I should fill out your last shag/dump poll, shouldn't I? I looked at it but I was having such a hard time deciding on what it was that I couldn't click anything.

I adore that pic and I adore those boys. They soooo love each other.

Actually I am lacking in a life, but even if I wouldn't be, your posts would still make me that happy. You are that wonderful. You can deny it until you're blue in the face, but I still won't believe you. (I have always enjoyed these arguments!! Bring it on ( ... )

This comment will be rambly and will have little consequence regarding your comment. I read your comments and I can remember very little of what you say but I do remember that it felt good to read it. I sort of think that that's preferable, but whatever. (I hate the way I'm constantly apologizing about this but I feel so guilty. My mind is conscious longer than my body is functioning and as I lounge in bed at night it's all I can think of. If only we had our laptop back. There are literal screaming matches over who gets to use the desktop at any moment and proving that what you want to look at is important is crucial. Even if I wasn't keeping lj secret it still wouldn't win over my sister's schoolwork or my mother's sudoku obsession.)

I would love to help with your thing (still haven't done the poll yet; it honestly takes too much thought for a bunch of them) if it works out to do so. I'm sure it isn't stupid; insane, maybe, but not stupid. And you can possibly help me as well. I would like to write something, preferably ( ... )
