You know, the joke is true--everywhere in LA takes 20 minutes. Except when I sent us to the wrong bookstore in Pasadena. That took 25. LA is much like a giant aquarium--plenty of greenery, mock castles at the center, schools of cars mimicking minnows running at top speed between different corners of their tiny ecosystem. The weather is fantastic
