• Saw and enjoyed Sweet! The Musical. I am aware this partly stems from being tone deaf and unable to perceive things that irritate my more musically talented companions. I wonder what not being tone deaf is like sometimes, music is fun, I love music but I have very little ability to detect things like tone, pitch or key which are obviously deeply

I wonder what not being tone deaf is like sometimes, music is fun, I love music but I have very little ability to detect things like tone, pitch or key which are obviously deeply important to other people.

*grins* You get silly tv tunes, or kids songs stuck in your head a lot (although the kids song thing is perhaps more of an occupational hazard)! I tend to get a lot of random things stuck in me noggin'... I tend to try and tune out a lot of the more irritating stuff I guess.

PhD seminar sounds like it would have been extremely interesting!
