This is a really good chapter. AU!Clark is so awesome. I love the story of AU!Chlark. This Clark seems strong enough to be able to let Chloe go back to where she's needed and where she belongs even though he wants her to stay, which speaks highly of him.

And I love that he keeps getting mad at his other self. Oh, Clark, we all understand.

AU!Clark is the Clark I would like to see on the show. I wish there was some way for him to have a happy ending with the woman he loves, but of course that isn't possible in his world, since AU!Chloe is dead. It's all very sad, made even sadder by the way Chloe can compare and contrast the two Clarks. One has everything while the other has lost everything.

She laughed wryly, then commented, "Somehow it never got easier where I come from."

I loved that line. And how AU!Chlark got together. All so lovely and yet sad.

Yeah, that's the thing AU Clark has a lot. He has a rewarding job, a mission, family, he gets to carry around Jimmy Olson (mmmm).
