What new show should I give a chance this fall?

Just pretend I said something clever.

You found this question stressful?

How can that be. I love all sorts of trash! I'm not here to grade anyone's taste. I just want to know what people think looks fun.

I was kind of in a pain in the ass mood the last time you and I chatted. I hope you don't hold that against me. I think you are awesome. I just can be ornery some days.

I don't remember it.

I sort of wish they'd do more shows about pedestrian--the secret lives of lunch ladies, sounds more interesting than some of these reality shows.

I'm into Toby's story right now. That would make a good series.

You mean elementary or Sherlock? I already watch Sherlock. I probably will try Elementary.

I secretly love Lucy Liu.

Well, I don't remember what shows we share right now, but here are some of my tops:

Game of Thrones (It's a political thriller in a fantasy setting)
The Walking Dead (Zombie Apocalypse. If those words don't appeal, then you won't love it)
Downton Abbey (Upstairs/Downstairs with a bigger budget. Not a bad thing)
The Vicar of Dibley (it's over, but you can find the shows online and it's the cuddliest, funniest, cutest, rainy day show)
Parks And Recreation (also a rather cuddly and optimistic show that leaves me happy)
French and Saunders (just look up every sketch ever on youtube and wonder why America doesn't know these amazing women)

Lets talk mind share here
Walking Dead already all over that
Downton Abbey already all over that
Game of Thrones... read several books then realized the author has no fricking plan.
So, I'll have no more of that. Once the series hasn't concluded and if someone can convince me it ended coherent ly I would revist but not before.
Parks and Rec... all over that.
Will need to check out Vicar of Dibbly an d Saunders and French.

Thanks for this.

Yeah. French and Saunders and Vicar are something I go to whenever I've had a bad day. Cheers me right up. Also, Jennifer Saunders is the star and creator of Absolutely Fabulous. That's a less cuddly show than Vicar, but it's brilliant. I'm sure you've seen it as it's one of the imports with cult status here.
