Apr 25, 2010 22:22

Happy Sunday, everyone! Welcome to the first review post! Without further ado, this is basically where we'll be discussing technical and plot issues with regards the first action post. Feel free to voice your comments :D

I have one technical issue to raise:

Commenting. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to keep commenting in action posts ( Read more... )

Actually, I prefer it when each comment is posted as a reply to the original post. They're all in one line then, doesn't stretch the page and doesn't get ridiculously narrow. It's also easier to choose what to reply to that way since you see everything at once.

That's my two cents though.

Hi dear! ♥ Thanks for your vote~ Yup, I was thinking that each comment as a separate reply won't squish the comments, the problem is will other people be able to follow the action if the reply is not made to their comment? If that's the case, we can go with the whole "track this" option where every comment is emailed to the player's inbox.

Hope you're doing well these days! :D

Well, they could just...check it? I don't really use email notifications anywhere, even when me and some friends used to have a RP on LJ. x'D Also, another possible option that would separate the comments into groups but still not squash them, is to post each comment not as a reply to the post itself, but as a reply to the same comment (which is first in the row). Er. If that makes sense. x'D

Thanks. I'll survive. x'D

I'm sorry for my lack of activity. I have good reasons and bad. orz

Maybe the Komurin III action rp could just be fade-to-black after what we've already rped?

I agree with dementiamorphea about how we should comment on the post itself. Not all of the characters will necessarily be interacting with each other at once. But I do see how it can be confusing.

Hey dear! ♥ Hope RL is not too bad? D: Hope things ease up for everyone soon!

Thank you for your comment on both issues! Yup, as mentioned to dementiamorphea (will be copy-pasting here 8)):

Looking forward to talking more with you soon! Once exams are over, orz.

I don't really think it would be confusing, the players would just have to remember which characters are where. That's how things run if forum roleplays, and it doesn't commonly cause any inconvenience. =P

Actually I would say it's more confusing now. Let's say there's series of Lenalee interaction posts, and then there's another-group post of Komui. And if then the Komui player wants to interact with Lenalee, in which should he post? And so on. X_x

..I think the only reason I haven't posted in the roleplay yet is that I don't get what's happening anywhere. x'D
