[Checking the journal didn't even cross her mind. She knows it was late, but it couldn't have been that late. Noel got to spend most of the day with Flynn again, and when he was walking her home in the evening, they decided to take a small detour. They thought it wouldn't be long, but time sure flies when you hang around with your loved one.

And it flew right into two in the morning.
