NO. I will not come and see you privately, Sweetheart.

I know all about you. I know what you did.

I'm aware of the things I've done, Bella. My memories are unlikely to fade, unlike the Dark Mark. Which, I'm told, has started to revert to an ordinary scar, rather than a magical brand. The Dark Lord is gone, and he will not be coming back. Not this time.
I understand that you must grieve for him, and I wouldn't try to deny you that. Perhaps somebody needs to, and who will, if not you?

I can't force you to believe me. I cannot force you to do anything. But there are ways that you could find the truth yourself, if you were willing to look for it. I could take you to see Rabastan. Perhaps you'd accept it from his lips, if not mine. You could come and see me - I will be spending the next day or two in the infirmary and you can see the Mark for yourself.
Or you can
Never mind.

I can't come and see you. I CAN'T.
Have you forgotten? You left me in a safe place, Sweetheart.
For weeks.

He's gone, you are in denial. Grief happens. If the person you were grieving for wasn't such a colossal wanker then I might show a bit of sympathy. But to be perfectly honest the world has better things to do than to prove anything to the ghost of a torturing murderer with less than the sense of the average five-year-old.
So, in terms you may understand: La la la. We're not listening.
