There is not enough Ianto working/meeting the Avengers out there. This was wonderful, of course Loki would want Ianto to help him plot to take over the world, if Ianto ever went evil he would be ruling the world in a week!

Fury offering Ianto a job, loved it! Ianto would rule SHIELD and have the Avengers under control in no time.

This was brilliant.

So, Ianto getting one over on Loki. How perfectly...Ianto. Of course Ianto would be loyal to Jack, Torchwood and Earth. He'd be so good at the deception necessary to fool Loki. And of course Fury would have dealt with Jack, and not particularly enjoyed it.

This IS the first story in a series, right? Cuz there's just no way you could possibly start this and then not continue it. You know you want to and we'd all love you forever. Just saying.

I've seen some TW fanfic folk who are now doing Avengers and glanced at a couple that had Jack or Ianto in them. The similarity in functional roles between Coulson and Ianto hasn't gone unnoticed. It started me thinking who else fits in their shoes, especially in terms of old style comics. I would think this would have been a safe role to put a woman in in times past.
