Elle likes Toby. She likes the way he punches, and the way he stops.
That second sentence is so powerful ... I don't know why, exactly. Possibly because it says exactly what needs to be said; what Elle would think, being a girl who notices things like the quality of a guy's left hook. <3 (It's also very sexy in a way I equally don't understand!)
Mostly, though, she likes the way he says her name. Quiet, like it means something different. “Elle.”
