Oh, I like! There simply isn't nearlyenough just nice, fun gen Eureka fic out here and this was just so nice and fun. :)

You really had just the most perfect description of Jack and really had Zoe's voice just perfectly.

Great job and I so hope you put up something more soon! :)

(Sorry, this is an incredibly late reply!)

*g* It is a matter of constant amazement to me that Eureka doesn't have the same breadth of fic as something like SGA. They're both so much fun to explore!

I'm really glad you enjoyed, and thanks so much for commenting!

This is great. I particularly loved Zoe noting the thing about her father pouting. Also, the potential for strawberry fries (because Vince would totally do that), and S.A.R.A.H. taking sides (because she totally does).

:) Zoe's pretty observant, and Eureka's probably only made her more so! And S.A.R.A.H probably doesn't think of it as taking sides against Jack, but she likes to take care of Zoe... Thank you for the comment, and I'm really glad you enjoyed!

And I have just been reminded of why you are one of the best authors in this fandom. It kills me that you only have six pieces (so far) in Eureka, but they're all extremely well written. I would much rather have a few stellar pieces than a lot of crappy ones. You - as far as I can tell - put a lot of work and effort into writing lovely stories, and it shows. This and "Misconceptions" are two of my favorite pieces.

You write Zoe beautifully and I like seeing both the pre and post-Eureka sides of her. I, of course, love that she chooses Eureka in the end. The girl is just meant to be there, and if the writers don't start giving her some fantastic storylines soon I will be upset. Also, Sarah taking sides? She's such a mother hen I could absolutely see that.

Mentally, Zoe apologised to Jo, who couldn’t really be blamed for having a psychotic boss. -- Poor Jo, the tragic bystander lol.

That was another thing: there weren’t many teenagers in the world who could blame the Defence Department for their lack of social life. Loved this. :D

Wow *glows* - I'm pretty sure no one's ever described me as one of the best authors in a fandom before... Thank you. I love Eureka to pieces, it's just that my viewing of it and the US viewing of it are so out of sync that it's hard to write and not be AU. Of course, I could just write the AUs anyway I guess...

I love Zoe, and I haven't been inside her head before, so this was a nice challenge. I hope she gets some decent story this season too, and some exploration of how she's growing into her place in town.

Also, Sarah taking sides? She's such a mother hen I could absolutely see that.
*g* She really really would.

any hint of Nathan + Zoe bonding? I *love* those two working together, that is a huge sweet spot for me.
Me too! In retrospect this is possibly obvious from the fics I write... It's just such a fun idea - and another one I hope we get more scenes for.

And yes, friend away, happily :)

:) Thank you. I wish I could write more Eureka-fic, but I know what happens in S3, and I haven't seen it yet, and somewhere in that combination my muse has run off. Which is sad, because I think I have at least three WIPs in my Eureka folder.

I really enjoyed writing Zoe, and the challenge of writing a female character for once! I love the few scenes she's had with Nathan, and I always think they'd have fun together. Mostly, from my POV, in a 'giving Jack the runaround' sense, just because they'd be so good at it.

Anyway, thank you again, and I'm really glad you enjoyed.
