My brother believes too much television warped us at an early age. To believe in love conquering all, and destiny, and happy endings and an order to things.

I think that's a lovely way to be warped; what's better to believe in than love conquering all and there being happy endings? It's nice :)

Ah - it should be noted at this point that said brother has just underwent a rather nasty breakup which apparently television did not prepare him for... Poor brother. But yes, I kind of agree with you. I'd prefer to believe that this is all gonna make sense at the end! :)
