I cried, almost from the first sentence and by the end I was just all *wow* Is it possible there would be more in this universe, because I'd really love to hear how they got to this point. But yes, I really do adore this story.

:D I really need to be less pleased about making people cry. I'm actually kind of curious about some of the things that happened pre-fic as well, especially given that I'm mostly a Sam fan and I didn't get to write him this time round. So I wouldn't rule out something else, maybe with Sam&Will, or Sam&Toby.

That was perfect in every way! I loved it all.

He caught his reflection in a blank television screen, and it took a moment to place the expression. So Sam had not been afraid after all. It was an unexpected boon.
Guh, my heart was already broken by that point. You didn't need to shred it into pieces on top of it, you know?

*g* My brother would kill me if he knew I was letting the Yankees win in the future. Or possibly he'd think it was evidence of the dystopia! I just liked that Josh and Toby were still debating the Yankees vs the Mets. And I think sports is something that would quite possibly continue even in that kind of world.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I did too once it was finished - I love apocalypse fic, but it was a pain to write!
