Again with the effort-reward though. But no, it's not gonna happen. I have too many fics I'm working on for that! It's just... so far I need 127 words of Whoverse to get a review. There's more West Wing to get through, but I anticipate it being more than that. Especially if I ever post Westward Look.
And, fair warning, I'm pretty sure the next few things I finish will be the Torchwood stuff. It's just easier. Why is that? (I'm worried it's because I care a little less about them. Except Owen, and that's only because he takes so much defending!)
Do my three comment box reviews throw the numbers off at all? ;) And ... yes. I appreciate that, but still. I will cry. For a very long time and will have no qualms about mentioning it and making you feel guilty (or trying to). I think I love the fandom (or my bit of it) hand in hand with how much I love the source and whilst SPN and Whoverse are fab, they ain't nothing compared with the OTFandom. *shrug* I don't want it to just be me. Because I'm alternately sick of them and wanting to make them participate, only that doesn't work and only makes me tired and depressed. And lately ... well, you know.
*nods* S'all good. Maybe I'll understand the next TW thing you post, huh? :D
Well, I guess I wouldn't want to make you cry... ;) (I may run off and write the baseball AU, just to be contrary.)
TWW just isn't inspiring me as much at the moment. Not that it isn't one of my shows, and my favourite bar Buffy, but I feel less need to write about it at the moment. Plus the loneliness. Which writing in Torchwood can fix, but TWW less so, cause it's just you and me so much of the time, sweetheart. And I want to talk stuff though with you, and then you're too far away!
*g* Hannah claims she can understand my West Wing stuff with no canon, but I think that's an exception!
Seetling *cuddles* I don't know what you should be writing (but definitely not the crazy Jack heading into Fireflyverse one!), but... given the other day I just managed to write my first ever bit of fanfic and it was Torchwood (if you squinted) I'm all in favour of the Whoverse... plus it's kinda easier to write when new stuff keeps happening, right? Not that I don't think you shouldn't still write TWW, 'cause you should, you write it really well (so I understand stuff even when I hadn't seen it!) but...
There's actually kind of an appeal to a closed-canon, because no one will crush your WIPs! I don't normally work as shows air, but Who is just too tempting :)

If you do that, I will cry. Just fair warning. As my answers reflect. :)
Actually the whole topic makes me want to cry, but there you go.
On the other hand: yay work?

Not exactly yay work, but at least yay money?

I will be, if only 'cause I always am. But...yeah. Less than great.
Closed canon thing is true, I think I was wilfully forgetting that. But you can just write "Set just after X before Y" and no one will hate you...
