This? way too funny. And I'm a complete musicals geek, so Owen is now getting patted on the head for admitting he knows Company. (sometimes I really wish the first version I heard of this hadn't been JB's - now I hear others and go 'clarity of voice, pathetic. Hello, diction much? Oh, please, you can put more emotion into it.')

Though possibly the only problem I have is with the Ianto being offered a job bit (but only the job benefits) - government jobs offer bupa or private dentistry? since when?

*g* The benefits part was in my head because my Dad just started a new job, and they're on bupa, but you're right, civil servants probably aren't quite so well covered! *handwaves, handwaves* Torchwood-rules... yes, that's what it is...

:) I love musicals too, and JB was the background for most of my writing of this, so it was fairly inevitable things would head that direction. (Being Alive's the only Company song I've heard him do, but it is beautiful.)

Ah, I love this. The thought of Jack singing Cole Porter to visitors makes me go all fuzzy inside. *g*

(Minor quibble - if they were in Cardiff, Jack would offer Owen pounds, not dollars. Unless Owen was going to change it to sterling later on. If he was, then I'll shut up and slink away in shame...)
