Three months was a fairly random amound of time, to be honest. I think, like for BSG/Sopranos etc, expecting people to keep quiet for very long is wishful thinking. But at least with most of the summer, those of us who are a whole season behind might have time to catch up. In an ideal world, we could go to December, which would give DVD-watchers a chance to get up to speed. For shows that are so twist-heavy, and so reliant on the wtf moments, it'd be nice if everybody could get to enjoy them as they were intended :)
