Really, REALLY good conclusion. I liked your take on Zoe's internal state, and on the crew's mix of concern for her and guilt at their own new happiness(es). Really nice stuff, although a mention of Book might have worked too, if you really wanted to jack up the angst.

Simon has managed to get himself shot again. The boy seems to be making a habit of it now that he has gotten himself started.

Love that. (Though it feels like it would flow better if it were "he's" rather than "he has.")

Also love the image of River whispering "quiet invocations" over the dinosaurs (but never actually touching/moving them).
