Rin remained in lion form, draped on the large bed like a flow of sunlight with a mane of night sky, watching the one who slowly moved closer. Syri was interesting to him, a flavor just behind tasting; the soul that needed his protection but seemed to want to be as far away from him as possible. And so the King of Sleep kept his cat form, because it was the only way to get the quieter of the two souls to be near him I just wish, to touch you for a while…

So... Xi has this epic power where my bad-asses become completely invested in their mates and have squishy moments that shock us all... I think I dish it right back, so that's cool. XD Enjoy it, lovely.
