Disclaimer: I do own Rath, as much as anyone female will ever be allowed to own him. Mostly, he belongs to Ser, and Ser belongs to Xi as much as he will ever belong to any female. I figure we’re even, as Rath owns Ser right back, and in some twisted way Xi and I own each other… I don’t even know if you guys are reading this, but if you do and now have a headache, I’m sorry.

The massive white lion stalked through the darkness, paws flattening the lush grass and tail snapping back and forth as he made for the balcony. A crouch and a leap brought the man who was once a beast over the marble barrier and into the night-shadowed bedroom of the one who was his mate. “Seriav, I have missed you…”

Silk-silent steps carried him over the marble floor and to the edge of the bed, his movements so smooth not even the one in the room stirred. Hoping the boy’s kin slept just as deeply, the Fallen Angel leaned over the dreaming figure and brushed a kiss over his jaw. “Wake, my Ser; wake and look at me, my mate.”
