Yeah, so I was reading the flist last night for reactions to the ep. and keepaofthecheez said she wanted something like this. I woke up and wrote it in an hour.

HOLD ME! OMG! *SOBS* This was so heart-wrenching and a great coda to the episode. HOW can this boy break my heart so easily!? A Sam without Dean is so very, very sad. As sad as a Dean without Sam. They must always be together. Always.

Sam is just...you want to protect him. Like Dean does, and then, when he doesn't need protecting anymore it's just fucking sadder, somehow.

They have to be together. There is no one without the other. They're not whole. Yeah, this Sam is alive, but not really, not in any way that counts.
