This is so GREAT!! Football, and Jensen loving to play but hating to tell the press about it, and a SQUEAKY FOOTBALL for the babies, and Jared swimming naked in a pool which GOD thank you for the image and Jensen TALKING TO JARED'S MOM. Which, Jared is right, must have been totally awesome.

I'm so glad you do! I just recently read Common Knowledge and fucking died at how amazing it is. Seriously, it is like one of the most fun, most awesome, giggle-inducing things I've read this year (and I have read A LOT of J2 this year). And hot and angsty and all the other things I love so much about J2.

I've only been in the fandom since May and I didn't even know about the Ballad. WTF? And I went to WinCon!! Double WTF. So, now that I have it all committed to memory and sing it fucking constantly and think of Jared, like, all twisted up about it, I suppose I have you to thank for all of that awesome joy. So thank you. I hope you don't mind if I friend you because anyone who can write like you do needs to be on my flist. Okay?

Sorry for the fangirling, I just...guh. I loved that story. I laughed out loud and jumped around and fucking danced. Yes I did.

I have absolutely no idea about American Football, but you completely pulled off giving just enough information to me understand and yet not be bored with sports talk. Kudos.

Jensen strikes me as a "we can't do this" kind of guy. Even though he wants to so much. And Jared is like a "we can't not do this" kind of guy. They're perfect for each other.

Dude, what an awesome idea. J2 are such all-American boys I'm amazed it hasn't been done before.
I loved the ways you wrote the boys' enthusiasm for football and each other, it seemed very realistic, as was their worry about being found out. It was a great story all around.

Believe me, when I was writing it, I was terrified someone was going to post a football'verse before I got the chance to. I mean, it's so fricking obvious, right? Them as Cowboys? It just fits. Now, I just need to get someone with visual arts ability to photoshop some pics of them in uniform. *dies*

In my mind at first, the team was very gay-friendly, but then I wanted it to be more real. And the reality is that they'd be in deep shit if they were found out. I love it when Jensen has inner struggles, so it just made sense.

That was a fanastic story. I love the idea of Jensen as the QB for the Cowboys (although Tony Romo is cute as well lol!) For some strange reason I kept waiting for something to go wrong. I glad it did. It was a very enjoyable read.

Yeah, Romo is a cutie, for sure. I kept reminding myself that making Jensen QB in my alternate universe still meant that Romo was QB in this one!

Yeah, at first, I didn't have that conflict. Wasn't sure how it would all go down and then I thought, of course! Jared has to get hurt.
