Bitone does "All is Full of Love"

Björk's song "All Is Full Of Love" is covered by Ugandan children and youths on an album by a organization called Bitone (meaning "talent"). Their mission is to restore the lives and hopes of children between 8 and 18 years old in Uganda, whom have been traumatized by the death of their parents or loss of their home due to disease, war, or economic ( Read more... )

Wow this is beautiful! I am half Ugandan, and was actually there just a few months ago, and I kept wondering if there was ANYONE listening to stuff like this over there, because sadly their radio isn't at a great state (however, they do have amazing musicians, but these kind of songs aren't played and adored by the young public). I love the purity of the young singer and the floaty feel of the song. Probably the only cover I've ever liked of björk apart from that Zoe cover (yes, I LOVED it, if you ignore the video).

...now if only she could do something about the child slaves of Lake Volta in Ghana. (the lake which she partially named her last album after.) ...she also said she took the name volta from a medieval dance and the sound of electricity. But I think the lake in Africa was another reason. ...so I think it'd be fitting if she helped the children there, too, if she can.
