What was that cape thing she was wearing during Aeroplane? Was she cold, or was it some James Brown thing? ;)

She came out with a blue cape and a firey crocheted scarf. She ditched the scarf after the first song and the cape came off shortly after aeroplane... I think she lost her shoes at one point too.
