I'm so glad you are continuing your epic! I've missed these characters. I love your writing style. Just the little nuances, like :
"Amelia closed her eyes, pinching her toes around the edge of the pool and counted". Everything is so well written.

I've only just discovered this story, and I'm glad I jumped into it when you're nearly done (I hate WIPs, and if I'd started reading five years ago, I'd have long since given up on you). You're a hell of a writer. It's been nice visiting these characters again.
