I'll admit I have a PS2, an Xbox, and I beat Halo. This is a big deal, since I only have beaten like, 3 games in life.
But when the xbox360 rolled around, something odd happened. That little thing in me, that desire to have the latest gadget, fell silent.
I still don't have one and looking at the games, I don't need one.
The Revolution is by far the most exciting system I've read about in years. Sure it's some pre-release hype, but they aren't over-selling it. It has less horsepower than its peers.
I think the last gaming system I actually bought was a Nintendo 64. My brother picked up a PS2, and I didn't have to buy an Xbox since all of my friends had one. But yeah, I agree about the 360--I haven't actually seen/played one, but I hear it's nothing special. And there are problems with its backwards compatibility with playing old Xbox games.
But about the Revolution, I totally agree. I really think Nintendo has the best business model in the industry: make games that people will want to play for years to come, and be innovative while doing it.

But it is going to rock.

I tried a few emulators before, but it made my computer run really slow.
Oh yes, and the dog is named Poochy, and he has his own Wiki page:
