Wow! I don't know anything about videogames (really, really nothing), but still, impressive!

Nice going, fancypants!

Thankee. Yeah, I'm digging the horror comedy genre. Not one I get to work with too often.

Wait... I'm pretty sure I saw the Evil Dead movies because of you! Or Billy? Or both of you? Either way, they couldn't have found a more perfect man for the job, obviously. Congrats again!

Haha! Would have definitely been one of us.

Speaking of which, weren't you there for the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead viewing? I remember that so fondly that I put in an Amazon request to auto-send that thing to me whenever it came out a while back and it was just delivered about 2 weeks ago at which time I immediately watched it with my roomies (one of which is Frank Webber, btw.) 'Tis a great movie and reminded me about how much I fun I had in high school.

It seems to me that you are the perfect person to work on such a game, being a big fan of Bruce Campbell and the movies and all.

Yup! That's pretty much what I thought when they brought me in for the interview. :)

So what made them want to keep it all hush hush until the press release? uclafalcon's company isn't completely done but they're going to be at E3.

It's a standard practice. Magazines will give more coverage to a game if they get an exclusive on it. That means that no one else should know about the game yet. Also, in case a game is delayed or canceled, you don't want to disappoint fans. You also do want to inadvertently start a marketing campaign too far in advance or everyone will get excited about this game that isn't coming out for another year and a half and after a while the excitement turns to being bitter about how long it's taking, etc.

So there's a lot of good reasons for the non-disclosure thing. But it sure is nice to be able to talk about what I'm working on again. Must be entirely all too frustrating to work on top secret government stuff. You can't even talk about that stuff AFTER it's done.
