6 Days? when did that happen? He told me he was increasing it to 4 days rather than the normal 3. Fuck, this is what pisses me off, there is no consistency in the store and they're all so fucking stupid that I'm not sure they know what's going on at any given time. For instance, tonight, Dan and I had a half hour conversation about where to put up the new dividers for the lineups. I'm thinking "what the fuck difference does it make, customers line up wherever they damn well please anyway". The man couldn't rub two brain cells together to form a cohesive thought to save his life, and sadly he's smarter than Brian.

Wow. I hate bosses that are not accomodating and do not respect the fact that school is number one for students. There should be labour laws agains employers of students to get them off out backs. I am lucky that my current boss is amazing and I can basically make my own hours. I think you should defiantely look into a new job after the summer, If not sooner!

you should ask to see your employee files (which they HAVE to let you see by law) it should have all the paperwork from when you first signed on. and i'm sure it says somewhere in the contract how often you are expected to work. what i would do is call the labour board (no, i'm not overreacting, it works, that's what its there for) and ask BY LAW how many hours a person of part time employment is meant to work. then, when boss man asks you again to have 6 days available you very nonchalantly ask 'now, boss man, i'm sorry i 'm a litte confused. see you mentioned that i need to have 6 days available for old navy. so i called the labour board the other day (his face turns white) and they said that as a partimer i really only need to have 24 hours a week. which is definitely not 6 days' ASSHOLE.
