We swapped the kid's bedrooms a couple of weeks ago and now they both need new paint jobs. Britt has been in Blake's blue room, but it was just too bold. A softer blue may have been ok for her but I decided to paint it pink instead, so that I could match the various doona covers with it. I chose "pink silk" and it was the lightest pink I could

shouldnt you paint the doors before hanging them

The bummer was that most of the doors needed to be planed or jigsawed. Out of 8, only 1 was ok to hang as is! That is why it took so long. Lee could take them off for me to paint now that they are the correct sizes, but that is just more hassle. We used the original hinges, and are painting all the architraves and skirtings at the same time, so it will be less fuss this way.
