The Harry Potter fandom going apeshit over the delayed release of the movie of the book that caused the Potterdammerung.   I would think that, that experience would cause them to, I don't know.. want to delay the inevitable kaboom for as long as possible?

I'll always love the HP fandom, but the delay doesn't bother me because the books after 5...went kaboom like you said! I think the delay is a bit much, but whatever.
