Playing hooky

Tomorrow dragonscholar and I are both playing hooky from work. We took the day off so we can see Charlie And The Chocolate Factory in the afternoon and have time to go hang out at the book store to get our Harry Potter book at midnight. :-)

We're looking forward to it, as we rarely ever take a day off just to play.

Love those long weekends!!! :-)

I wanted to play hooky and go to Water World today...just a big ol water park...but that didn't happen. Hooky is so much fun, just feeling like a kid again and stuff...

Have to wait till this weekend for Charlie...impatient I already am though:)

OOH! Have a wonderful time!

I'm meeting my hubby at his office at 1:30 then we're off to see CatCF at the IMAX just down the street from his office. He's the one playing hookie as I am currently, and slightly blissfully (lack of funds makes it not nearly as fun) unemployed.

At any rate, I look forward to seeing this Johnny and Tim's latest collaberation. No matter what the critics are saying, I'll thoroughly enjoy every moment.

We're seeing it on an IMAX screen here too!

Last I checked, (Yesterday) it had an 83% fresh rating at RottenTomatoes. That's a VERY GOOD rating. My hubby and I only look at RottenTomatoes for our critical guidance, since I refuse to listen to the local critics who hate everything.

RottenTomatoes, if you haven't heard of it, takes all the critical reviews and averages them together. :-) Just checked and with 71 reviews its still at 83%.. so good reviews!!

OOH! Excellent to hear that! I've bookmarked Rotten Tomatoes so I'll be able to utilize it in the future. What a wonderful idea to give an average of all reveiws. Gives one an overall basic idea of what others thought.
