I hate it when this happens.

But it happens ALL THE TIME, so I'm used to it by now. For what it's worth, it looks like your version has a substantially different tone than what I saw in the article. If you concentrated on the tuxedo-clad Dracula kicking Hitler in the 'nads aspect, you could probably...I hate to say "get away", as that implies you're doing something wrong, but if you did that I don't imagine too many people would be calling foul.

Have you ever heard of a Devil's Due book called MONSTER SQUAD?

I mean THE LOST SQUAD. Which, on a quick examination of the book's description on the DD site, isn't as close to what you're talking about as I thought.

Yeah, I've been doing this for 10 years...so I've had my share of this. Still...although not the same in tone, them beating me to the publishing punch will make Ghoul Squad look like a weak sister.

I'm still very tempted to move forward, regardless. It's just a 48pp GN. And I've put in months and months of research into that genre of Hollywood horror, WWII, and Nazism and the Occult. So I might as well do something.
