This past week was less successful than the previous week, no thanks to my late arrival in Vancouver on Thursday morning, preventing me from seeing one of the many films i could only see there.

So, from this year's list of 44 nominated films, i've now seen 23:

It almost seems as though that's exactly what they're encouraging people to do when they make it so damn difficult to see the nominated films. It's very frustrating.

I haven't watched either of those shows, but i've thought of getting the DVD set of "The Tudors" -- i like historical dramas, and i've heard this one show is pretty darn good.

If you really wanna get into the Henry VIII lore, without missing a single cheesy 1970s moment, have a look for an album by former Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman called The Six Wives Of Henry VIII.
