I really wouldn't be against every John Cusack movie ever being turned into a J2 fic. Except maybe Max. But I'd have to watch it again, because I actually don't remember that much. Maybe it contains the most epic love story since Logan and Veronica. And maybe (as deeper_shallow suggested) Chad could be a young Hitler ( Read more... )

Stupid grin - check! And it's like nothing can wipe it away, not even work! If something annoying comes up, I just find it and stare for a while and everything is right with the world again!

I could send you what I have so far, which I'm partly proud of and partly feel like I've been way too lazy and kept too much of the original dialogue. I could really use some pointers so if you'd want to give me some... :P

I agree with you one hundred percent about John Cusack movies! That's why I wrote a J2 version of Say Anything! The Sure Thing would be great, and I've always wanted to take a crack at Grosse Pointe Blank as a J2. It would be SO FUN. :D

I just pictured that Jared gif on my wall a la Hogwarts and I may have actually whimpered a little. FYI.

I may have started on a Grosse Pointe Blank one once. *cough* It sits as one lonely paragraph in one of my notebooks and only consists of the scene where they show up at the reunion, though. I have a real problem with follow-through. :P It is my favourite movie ever though, so I'd loooooove to see it happen!

I adooored your version of Say Anything and may have jumped up and down a bit when I read the BB prompts. There needs to be more of this awesomeness!

Wouldn't it be awesome? I vote that's the next thing that needs to be invented! *goes to stare more at Jared*

It's really not good for productivity at work, but it makes everything you actually manage to do more tolerable, so really, it's a win/win situation. :D
