I still can't get used to the fact that I'm apparently 17 now. I feel like I should be more mature, but... Maybe this is what mom meant about maturity being a gradual thing.

My mother said that being an adult meant living on with such ugly ambiguities...

...um, I still don't think I quite understand. But I think about it, and it comforts me, you know? Maybe you can make better use of it?

Oh... yeah. She can be smart, but she smokes a lot of spliffs and rambles a lot. But it looks like there are some gems there.
