Derby Day
Riding high on the crest of their notoriety, they were honored guests at the Kentucky Derby that year. All three of them, Velma, Mama and Roxie in gigantic hats, getting bombed on sweet, cool mint juleps, talking louder and louder as the afternoon wore on, hands on each other’s knees then higher, placing losing bets for money they hadn’t even made.
Back at the hotel the bedspread was green as a mint julep.
“I’m diving in,” Roxie cried and threw herself down on the bed, limbs akimbo, her dress up around her waist, her hat still on. Velma couldn't resist and pounced, pulling off Roxie’s moist little panties, licking and teasing till Roxie was thrashing and squealing. Mama didn’t want to miss out on the action so she hiked up her skirt, shaking her thighs and squatted down for Roxie to eat her up. “Ride me like a prize-winner,” Roxie hollered then she dug in and all three of them were writhing and reeling and reeking of mint juleps and sex, silly hats flying every which way.
In later days, when times got tough again, sometimes one of them would yell out “ride me like a prize-winner” and they’d all three collapse in laughter remembering that high flying Derby day.
