A lot of the time I find it hard to read them together, not because I don't love them but because I think they're such a complex couple that not a lot of people fully get them right in their stories.

But congrats, you had me believing the entire thing. This was pure perfection and it left me with tears in my eyes at the end because of all the what-ifs and could've-beens this couple has.. everything was spot-on, including the subtelties, which were probably the best part.

I'm so glad that you think that I got them right because Derek/Addison intimidates me. There are so many layers beyond the 'she-cheated-on-me' thing and I just find it hard to express it properly.

I'm in absolute love with the "less is more" style that you used. And this, (i love you and i love you too and that eternal hug and the kiss that lasts forever? Doesn’t happen.) is exactly what makes them them. Thank you for this stunning piece of fic, and for keeping my little flame alive. Wonderful work.

Thank you very much! I wasn't sure if this style actually *works* on them, but this is the only one that I'm comfortable with so I just went with it. I'm glad you thought it was in-character.

I loved this story so much, I actually got off my butt and made an Addek icon :)

I don't think many writers capture the complexity of these two all that well post Season 3, but IMO you have done so in this one.

Can't deny it though, reading about these two is always hard!

I agree! Although, I think to get on with your life, sometimes you have to try to forget them. The other way is too hard.
