*Ms. Margaret Braeburn is sitting curled up with a copy of Wuthering Heights and a mug of hot chocolate, should anyone like to annoy visit her. She's got the intensely focused look of a slightly obsessive academic absorbed in a book, but that just means it'll be more fun when someone approaches and scares the hell out of her.*

*Matilda happens to be walking by where she is sitting. She isn't one to pass by a book (even if someone else is reading it) so she cautiously peers over Ms. Braeburn's shoulder.*

*It probably takes longer than it ought to for Margaret to notice her, but when she does she jumps, nearly spilling her hot chocolate, making a little startled sound* When did you get here?

*Matilda probably looks like a deer caught in the headlights.* Oh, I'm sorry! I was just walking by and saw that you were reading and couldn't help coming over to see what the book was.

It's Wuthering Heights. Have you -- *pauses, realizing Matilda's age* -- of course you haven't read it, what am I saying?

Ronia can be as silent in her steps as any wild creature, when she chooses to be; this is one of those times. Soundlessly, she has come up behind Margaret, and has stood for a few moments, watching her curiously. When she speaks, it's completely out of the blue.

"What's that?"

Typist: Okay, I have a stupid little situation here... I was going to write this comment for Ronia, hellsgapharpy, but for some reason I couldn't remember her password. So I reset it... then realized I didn't know which email address I used for her journal. I remembered the password (I was misspelling something) but it's now reset. And the information about her email address is on my computer which completely croaked. In a few weeks and a hundred dollars, I can get my computer's hard drive - and find out which email it is - BUT, until then, apparently, I'm Ronia-less.

...My point is, I still wrote a comment, and, darn it, wanted to use her. XD So please forgive the typist-journal?

...Drat, my typist note was longer than the comment.

*and this time, Margaret will spill her hot chocolate, all over her book, with a string of curses under her breath*

*taking a deep breath and setting the now half-full mug aside, she says* You really oughtn't sneak up on people.

Typist: XD Oh, dear. Well, hey, it works. Good luck with the computer situation.

"All right," Ronia says evenly. Not that that'll ever stop her. "What's that?" She points at the unfortunate, cocoa'd book.

"It's Wuthering Heights," Margaret replies. "Now chocolate-flavoured."
