In which I play along...

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

Or not, since I have but a handful of friends and I doubt my part will inspire anyone with a burning need to continue... )

And I like the way his eyes are kind of shifting off to one side, like there's something else on his list of things to lick over there.

YES. He has a list I think . . . a long list. Whereas I only have a headache. A long-standing one. Head breaking into little bits.

I think you should use the feathery one--it's really pretty. And it says whimsical in a way I usually only associate with Aiba&hearts

The fourth is my favorite Maou icon of all time ^_^ I covet it terribly. No, really.

And I am sure you will eventually replace geeky!Nino with an appropriately clear and sharp version someday ^_^

The shoes&hearts They do speak most eloquently of Joy!

I would be more perky or something, but my head is doing unseemly things. ow.

You kind of always have a splitting headache on Tuesdays lately... Sorry to hear it.

I might have a headache, but it's such a normal part of life anymore that I don't really notice it. I'm tired.

Yeah . . . the headaches are about every other day, I guess. I'm sick of drugs.

I think I may have tooth/sinus infections, but am waiting on dental insurance :P

Hello, TT faculty? Why don't you have dental?

Very Danger!

By the way, Jenna got the JET! Called to tell me today and to invite me to visit wherever the hell they send her. I will make her join the Arashi fan club, since it will be summer before I can get there anyway. And hopefully she'll be close enough to a big city that it would be feasible....

Terrifying.

That is awesome!!!!

You love me, right? Right??

Though I'm wondering if there's a way to use that address to join the Arashi fan club . . .

So did someone in the comments on that page, I saw -- specifically mentioning JE...

I do, but let's wait and see how things are for her (and for me financially) in the spring. Not sure what the details are for her yet; she will find out next month, and then leaves at the end of July. She asked to be in the southern part of Honshu, so there are various cities close-ish. (But they will probably just send her wherever they need someone.)

I just heard about the whole Tsuyoshi thing :( That sucks. And the kind of knee-jerk condemnation from fans seems really unfair.

if you haven't already heard.

Lots of ads pulled and the 5 tv shows all in jeopardy . . .

All I can think is, yes it was stupid, but Jesus, people, chill. It's not like he hurt anyone or was violent or anything.

And I don't fangirl SMAP or anything, but they sound awesome in so many ways and must be really freaking out right now . . .

Yeah, I had heard about that via a gossip blog -- can't believe it hit the Times, though! Geez. It was basically public intoxication and being noisy -- which probably happens at least once a week in this park, except this time it was a famous person who could be made an example of. But normally this kind of thing would be a night in the drunk tank and then a fine, right?

I had also read (a couple of months ago) that SMAP was planning on ceasing group activities -- touring & recording, at least, and possibly the group variety shows -- after a final tour in the summer, and then just pursuing solo activities. Not sure whether this incident will cement that, or whether they will be obligated to demonstrate strength-in-adversity, or whatever and keep going.

I've seen some of their shows, and I kind of think SMAP is weird. And I don't like their music much, what I've heard. But this still sucks if it destroys five people's lives.
