I don’t actually have any free time anymore, it seems, but it’s really hard to convince myself that I am not allowed to do anything other than go to work and go to sleep (for a considerably shorter period than I work). So I let myself watch a couple of SP promos recently. And what do you know, it’s Okada’s birthday, so I’m taking the opportunity

He is a good-looking fella! I will ogle him plenty, since most of the people I see every day are a good fifteen years younger than me, and would not be okay to ogle them, if anyone was ogle-worthy. And people my own age all seem to be depressingly obese or depressingly depressing in other ways in this area -- not sure whether it's the economic failure of this region or the political conservatism and 'what are these things you call vegetables and pedestrian paths' attitude of the place. So JE boys it is!

You sound terribly busy there -- cf my sympathies elsewhere as well. Wouldn't it be nice to breathe and relax once in a while? I didn't get to see my movie yesterday after all, but I graded pretty intently today, so I think I can justify it tomorrow. If I get up early and get another ten or so papers done, maybe I can go to a matinee show of the new Harry Potter... Of course, my ability to get up early when grading is on the agenda is notoriously bad. orz

LOLOL he was SO hopeless in the 100yen shop-segment. Like unbelievably hopeless. How can anyone get ALL the wrong items?? XDD

I don't think I've seen anyone else be so wrong on that segment. And then he'd manage to pick out the cheap items for the comedians, poor thing. And then, he also had no judgment about how much cash to bring, so double fail. (I always kind of suspect that the "didn't bring enough money" ploy is a stunt, but geez, he had to ask three times!) It was sooo amusing. (^_^)b

On the other hand, didn't he recently get the special bonus for being damned close to exactly right about the food prices on Guru Guru 99? So maybe he knows about important stuff like gourmet food, but not about random Bakelite bracelets and toy guns. Well, that's okay by me.

I wish I had any time to watch the new show. I have no doubt he is being awesome on it -- when he's not completely useless.

You should watch it if you have the time. It really is awesome! And as you might think he's pretty good at most of the things they throw at them ;Db
