Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can coming
out with pictures of the Empire State Bldg. and the Pledge of Allegiance
on them. However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge, "Under
God".Pepsi said they did not want to offend anyone.

YAY!! GO PEPSI!! finally, some one needs to support religious tolerance and adversity in this country!

yea i think its right they did that but the main reason they prob did is b/c lot of people would get all agry about it ( whitch is there right to do ) but pepsi is prob mostly thinkin about sells and not the people which should be there main reason for doin it..

ok, but do you know how many christians they are pissing off, I got that information in a christian chain leter from my grandmother informing me NOT to buy any more pepsi product because"they are against god" or some shit. it's real dumb. Either way they will piss people off. But in my opinion, not putting under god is more respective to all religions rather than catering to the one. After all, this is supposed to be a religiously free country.

agreed, but christians were the ones who wrote the pledge. And when it was wrote, it was meant as the god in the christian religion. But yes, It could be interpreted to suit other religions that have a single god.
