Is it strange that a Christmas fic that takes place during a zombie apocalypse is the sweetest thing I've read in a while?

You lie in your warnings. Shoddy writing is somehow never an issue with you. It's almost annoying, but hey, we get to enjoy all the fabulous fic, so it's alright. xDD

Anyway. This was absolutely adorable and perfect and I love it to bits and pieces. Can't even pick out a favorite bit. These two are just So Cute. ♥

I've always loved the zombie survival genre. Combined with Shisui/Itachi, it's somehow even better. I enjoyed your story. I liked that they had their own Christmas celebration and VHS movie marathon despite the near end of the world. =)

Zombie apocalypse will possibly always be my favorite genre. I don't even like zombies that much, but it's fascinating to throw some of your favorite characters into one- just to see how they'd fare. What would change, what would stay the same, and all that jazz.

Kill me, this was an amazing story ;____; Imagining them falling asleep together under twinkling colored lights makes me want to go string Christmas lights on my ceiling too. The best part of any apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction is always the psychology of the survivors and the relationships between them, so much that the means of apocalypse (zombies, nuclear fallout, etc.) kind of become scenery. Rabu~

It was definitely that mental image that started it. When I was scrambling for ideas for this, rudy_flamthrowa jokingly told me to write a zombie apocalypse Christmas. I'm mostly sure she was kidding, but the idea took hold. And yes, the characters- how everything changes for them makes the story. The apocalypse itself is kind of backdrop after that.

ahem. Yeah, I totally loved this. I'm the type to make plans for a zombie apocalypse, too, so... :D ITACHI AND SHISUI FIGHTING ZOMBIES, YAY. Wouldn't the zombies freeze solid if it got too cold??? THEN ITACHI AND SHISUI COULD GO ICE SKATING~! Or something. Yeeeah.

I've probably said this a million times- on my journal, on communities, in my writing- but uh. I love zombie apocalypses. Especially throwing my favorite characters into them. My friends have this whole scenario mapped out- where we'd go, how we'd get food- even where we'd get fire power. Which is odd because zombies kind of freak me out (and I've had nightmares about them for years) but the characters- the way they change, is just really interesting. I WILL STOP TALKING NOW.

And it depends how cold they'd get really- in the fic it's just below freezing so it hasn't quite gotten cold enough to freeze them solid, but I'll tell ya what, now I want to write them ice skating. :D
