Madara? Pffft, of course he would name a ship after himself. But man, the Akatsuki are pretty sexy, ahemahem, so I guess Madara only surrounds himself with people who are on his level of hot.
Ahhh, well, if this story was continued, there would be a scene where Shisui and Itachi return home, specifically to someone's room, to do things. I leave the rest unsaid. ;D

Shisui is too cute in this. And Itachi, I love Itachi too. Ooh, and Kakashi. BUT my favorite supporting character was without a doubt Madara.
'Shisui notices that Madara’s strangely lush and voluminous hair sways in the breeze. Then Madara winks and adds, “Perhaps you could lend me your own body?”
Shisui dies a little inside. He’s pretty sure there are enough people to ensure that he won’t be dragged into a dark alley somewhere, but just in case, he mentally recites the five karate moves he kept in mind for occasions when he would be attacked by strangers.'
From there I loved every line involving the guy. (Thick walls, ah? Why was I waiting for the other captain to be Hashirama or something? xDD)
Awww, the ending was too adorable for words. I squealed.
Love your illustrations too, btw.

Bahha, Madara is always creeper-y in my head. I guess it just translated strongly into the story LOL.
HASHI SHOULD TOTALLY BE THE OTHER CAPTAIN. Their sea-faring adventures would be so amazing, I don't even know haha

Maritime adventures! With pirates! Oh such fun, and so sweet the romance. Poor Shisui; I definitely buy that nothing else would have gotten him on that ship. God Madara is a horrifying creeper god figure - I loved all his lines but especially his dive over the edge. He will be back, and he knows where you live, Shi-kun.
KAKASHI \(^o^)/ He's wonderful here. During his conversations with Shisui (trying to get to know/help him), I kept expecting him to crack, "Pirate," a la John Sparrow. And Obito. Poor, little, mostly innocent Obito. Shisui, you're so sweet and protective but not in a position to talk :P
On a side note, I kinda want to know what Obito told Kakashi about Shisui.
Another side note: their reunion induces flailing <3
Itachi is a genius, and so matter of fact it makes me warm and fuzzy. And you joined actual pirates, sweetie? It must be true love <3

Madara, oh god. I'm sure that in some unspecified time in the future, he'll return to take Shisui back, and that's when everything will go downhill, BUT EVERYTHING'S STILL GOOD RIGHT NOW, AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS, RIGHT? :P
Kakashi would make such a handsome pirate, just saying. Haha, Obito might have told Kakashi about Shisui's obvious pining over his cousin. Seriously Shisui, you can't hide it. :D
I like to think that the family would have suspected something and accepted it already, but maybe that's a bit too hopeful? Either way, Shisui and Itachi are going to have a happy ending, goshdarnnit.

Poor Shisui; way to be hasty and make your lives hard, hon. If you'd have just stuck around a minute, you could have bypassed creeper altogether and gone straight to the tonsil hockey. :3

Ahaha, you're right! Shisui could have saved himself from a second horrific encounter with Madara. But then again, he and Itachi have the rest of their lives to catch up with each other, if you know what I mean. ;)

...my favorite part was the Madara. I mean, he was mentioned, and I was sold. He was RIDICULOUS, and I loved him so.
There are some hilarious lines in this other than everything that comes out of Madara's mouth, mostly relating to Shisui's inner monologue and Sasuke's silly teenage behavior. LOVED them, and oh, Itachi is so glamorous *_*

I knew I had to insert Madara somewhere just for you. His personality was taken entirely from crack!fics I've read on him, so I have you to thank for a large part of his characterization LOL

You know, I spent all of yesterday watching youtube videos on Itachi, and he is actually quite BADASS. I guess reading all this fanfic that depicts him as beautiful and pretty and girly has gotten to my head, because I was seriously surprised at how masculine he was in the anime. Oh gosh, haha. /o\

I KNOW, RIGHT? Whenever I have cause to observe canon!Itachi, I am blindsided by a)his deeeeep, uber-man anime voice, b) the way he fucks over basically everyone he meets and c) the way Akatsuki is collectively his bitch. fosijfosdifjsodifs have we become Those Writers? You know, the ones who are clearly just writing about random characters with the same names as the ones in canon? Saaaaave me :( Clearly watching more youtube videos will help get a better handle on characterization.

Itachi's voice. Oh god. I cannot reconcile his voice and the person I imagine him to be around Shisui. It just doesn't click. D:
I HOPE WE AREN'T THOSE WRITERS. /okay, yes, i totally am. this fic is proof. But I will rectify that by watching more episodes with Itachi. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have something good to look at, you know? ;D
