This is lovely. I come away with the feeling that, although he was always saying: "Yeah the story is he ran out on us, but I bet he was eaten", in the end, he really believed that he had, and would rather dad had just run out on them, and I like that so much, though I can't explain why.

Warren says it sucks just as much when your dad just walks out, and moves to New Jersey where he lives with his stupid weiner dog.

And then he laughs and says "weiner".
