ick, i know! it's almost like you're preparing for your own funeral...or something. *cringe*
i'm with experimentation all the way. um, but i guess you could say that it isn't exactly my "thang," not yet anyway. i'm sure with time (maybe during college) i'll somehow get with it. although, it seems to me like people start so young when getting involved in crazy stuff like that, and with all the wrong intentions, you know? it's not their fault, of course. society places a great burden on us to measure up to inconceivable standards. i think it's the way my parents raised me, passing down their "innocence" genes and whatnot. reckless behaviour doesn't spark my interest. both a blessing and a curse in a way.
school has been nothing short of nightmarish...i have no choice but to concentrate on the crap material i learn in pretty much all of my classes (besides sixth period senior honors english, where i actually acquire useful information from each lesson -- plus, my teacher's sense of humor is the perfect cure at the end of the day for dire ennui). wow, that is my school experience. Except for the fact that my cool english class is third period, so I have to go to it, enjoy myself terribly, and then go get bored for five more periods.
and YES. ABC is amazing this season. I haven't been following Lost or Life as we Know it, although I really want to. but DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Absolutely incredible. :D

While I do think that experimentation is all part of growing and learning, it comes to a point where the line seems to disappear.
It's really sad.
So many young people ruining promising futures.

it's like ABC nonstop for me lately. it's hard not to obsess over such devastatingly captivating shows. lost is a major must-see! *sigh*
