I love, love her answer to the question "How did you die," and I love everything about Seifer's narrative and I love the whole kneeling thing because he's so the witch's knight hee.

This all makes me very happy. ♥

What pairing, now?

No, seriously. I clicked it out of morbid crack-pairing curiosity, but this is so pretty. Seifer acts like such a punk in the game, I didn't think you could write a story this sweet about him without putting him OOC, but you did.

And then as I was writing this, I thought of something, and went back and reread the paragraph that begins "Seifer thought about that," and then I read it once more, and my jaw dropped. They left it running? With her in it? That's just... I might have had an idea that good, but I wouldn't have dared to use it like that, as a one-paragraph hint in a story about something else. That's amazing. That paragraph makes the whole story twice as good.

I don't tend to write crack. ;) I do drabble challenges sometimes, and then I have to write whatever people tell me to, but left to my own devices~

Anyway, Seifer/Namine is a pet pairing of several of my friends. It has no basis in canon, it's true, but if you're familiar with FFVIII at all, you can't help remembering how much he wanted to find a witch to protect...
