Grats on the upcoming new job, sounds like that's had a really positive impact on you. Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog - I know you'll cherish the memories of the time you did spend together. I've never had the opportunity to own a dog, but I can't wait until I'm in a position to do so. You're lucky! :)
Infected Mushroom. The guy can sure pump his fist, can't he? :P They were actually a bit too loud and chaotic for my tastes, another example of a good gig ruined by the way engineers seem determined to set up their audio outputs. I really need to invest in some ear-plugs so I can properly enjoy the gigs I go to.
Hope everything else is going well, because it sure sounds like you're in a pretty good position in life at the moment. Happy to hear that. :)
Well, as long as you begin your relationship (with your pet) knowing that one of these days you'll have to let go.. As cynical and bitter as it sounds, will help. Dogs are great, and I'm glad I had mine as long as I did (12 years!)
Everything the IM show I went to was perfect. Sure, it was loud, but it wasn't chaotic. Every person around me and that I could see was totally connecting with the music. I find that some of the best shows are ones where the audience makes it good. IM fed off of our energy and it was a blast. I'm sure because they had such a good show here that they will be coming back. Their Houston show sucked, because it was a shitty audience.
Everything else could be going better but hey, I can't really complain.
